Philadelphia. The Pakistani Catholic Christians in Philadelphia celebrated the 12th ordination anniversary of Fr. Thomas R. Betz O.F.M Cap. at St. William's Church on June 01, 2003

The Pakistani Catholic Christians participated in the anniversary programmes with enthusiasm by services and rituals in Sunday prayers led by Fr. Tom Betz, Rev. Fr. Edmahar and Fr. Dominic Isaac. The large attendance of the Pakistani Catholic Christians proved to be the major success of Fr. Dominic Isaac who is pastrol coordinator for Pakistani community for the archdioceses of Philadelphia.
After Sunday services, a variety programme was organized by the Pakistani Catholic Christians Church in which the Church Choir presented hymns. Mr. Raymond Mathis presented his poems in honor Rev. Fr. Betz while Mehvish Chowdry read the poetry to grace the services of Fr. Betz for the Pakistani Catholic Community in Philadelphia Major (Rt) Justin Sharaf in his welcome speech said, "Father Tom Betz, you are an Exceptional Person! The most Beloved Priest of hundreds of thousands of Migrants, be they American, Indonesians, Cambodians, Vietnamese, Chinese, Philippines, Koreans, Japanese, European, Africans, Indian, Mexicans, Canadians, from the Continents of Asia, Europe, Australasian, Africa, North or South America, from the Moon, from Mars or from anywhere in the Milky Way Galaxy! You are indeed exceptional"
He further added " But today we are here to set the record straight: you father tom Betz, are first and foremost, the most beloved priest of the Pakistanis! I know I will draw fire for this, but then a special Tom Betz is worth fighting for"
Rev. Fr. Dominic Isaac in his speech said that its great honor for Pakistani catholic Christian Apostolate that Fr. Betz preferred to celebration his ordination anniversary with us. He praised the participation of all the families of the congregation in this programme.
