The Canadian church which is leader in approving gay marriages and Canadian government is ready to enforce Muslim sharia laws for the large Muslim population in Canada, the voice of Obaid Chowdry may be in wilderness but still the echoes shall string for long time. The protest of Obaid chowdry is just and carries true Christian values, which have been continuously neglected by the western church and Pakistani church leaders in west but Mr. chowdry, s protest still carries weight that in mosques of Pakistan the idea of Christian artist's performance cannot be imagined. The true followers of Jesus Christ like Mr. Obaid Chowdry can not bear such events in the sanctuary of the church but major drawback are the Indo Pakistani clergy in western countries who instead of evangelizing Christian faith are trying to move ahead to westernized church than local clergy. Its fact that majority of the Pastors and Reverends leading the Pakistani Christian community in North America were never student in any seminary in Pakistan nor they have led any congregation but they joined churches to adjust their immigration status and to enjoy the luxuries of life in west. The few Pakistani Pastors in North America who were serving community in Pakistan under different established churches after proper theology education only left Pakistan after their scandals and scams in Pakistan and settled in western countries have no interest but to cash their stay in west and have been totally failed to convey the feelings of Pakistani Christians to their heads. About two weeks ago, Abida Perveen's show was Held inside the sanctuary, as some of you my know that Abida sings a lot of Songs, which praises Allah. Mohd.. and his followers. How can a church allow this to happen in the sanctuary? Tonight there is an Indian show called "NO LIFE WITH WIFE". Again this is a non-religious program. My family and I has taken up this matter with the church and expressed our concerns both verbally and in writing.
