The protest by the Army general led political parties of general Aslam Beg and Hamed Gull, Awami Quaidat Party and Tehreek Ithad Pakistan Party, can be easily viewed in the light of their planning to establish and support fundamental Muslim government in Afghanistan. Bhtti expressed thatThe fear of safety of life and property by the 20 million Christian of Pakistan is their bitter experience of attacks on their homes and churches by the processions of these Muslim religious parties, during Gulf war and wars between Pakistan and India. The poor and peaceful christian community of Pakistan have always remained the prime target of these fundamental groups to express their anger against the western countries economic, social and diplomatic policies about Pakistan, when these western christian communities have never given any attention for the socio economic uplift of this oppressed nation living among such religious communities in south Asian region, where treated as second class citizen. They can present the situation of incident of Shanti Nagger Christians, the victims of barbarian act of Muslim attacks on their life and property and the residents christian of this christian village staged hunger strikes in Islam Abad to seek support of international community but not a single representative of western foreign missions in Islam Abad even visited their camps for weeks to express their sympathies to their miseries. The stand on blasphemy laws and implementation of Islamic laws on minorities is never above few words from them but still the poor Christians look forward for their support on crisis as the Muslim world backs up the cause of poor and oppressed Muslim minorities around the world. Mr. Bhatti, said that now when government of pakistan is on the one platform and situation of war against Afghanistan is under way, the religious groups against the decision of government have launched processions in Quetta and Peshawar which shall be forceful and violent during war, it's the foremost duty of this government to adopt necessary measures of safety of Christians in Pakistan. He said that Pakistani christian in Pakistan and abroad have strongly condemned the terrorist attacks on America and offered Sunday prayers to share in grief of the families of the victims which is not liked by these Muslim religious parties in Pakistan.
