A resolution was passed to condemn the killing of Christian youth and demanded the governments to arrest the culprits involved in firing. The Christian gathering also demanded government to pay compensation to the families of the brutally murdered youths. Addressing the meeting Saleem Khurshid khokhar said’ its obligation of state to protect life and property of minorities but christians feel insecure after killing of Christians in Karachi’ Mr. Khokhar announced that Christians shall hold prayers as memorial services of the deceased Christians before Karachi Press club as token of protest instead of performing the religious rituals in church. Michael Javeed, Ex MPA Sindh in his condolence speech said we shall observe hunger strike before Karachi Press Club during prayers on Sunday at 4 PM on May 23 also. He condemned the killings of innocent Christians by the terrorists. Tariq Javeed, son of Liaquat Abad Union Councilor was kidnapped and shot dead on Tuesday when he was heading to serve a picnic party at 6.30- AM. His driver Ishaq Masih was also shot dead after two hours of kidnapping. Gregory Robert and Javeed Anjum, relatives of moderator of UP Church were also kidnapped and shot dead on same day in Karachi East. Mr. Yousaf Gill and Samuel Xavier also addressed the meeting.
