Ashraf Butt is advocating the demand of endorsement of Israel in Pakistan government issued Passports to citizens and commissioning of diplomatic ties with Israel from decade. Mr. Butt, a renowned attorney in Karachi Bar and Christian leader have openly addressed press conferences hoisting David Star Flag of Israel to declare him friend of Israel and press upon his demand to establish cordial relations with Israel by the government of Pakistan. Ashraf Butt have been arguing in Islamic Republic of Pakistan “its time to have new ties and era to recognize Israel under prevailing geo-political situation when India have taken lead to open Israel embassy in Delhi” The recent demonstration is in series of campaign to urge government of Pakistan to recognize Israel and sharing of UP Church Karachi in this issue shall sure create momentum in demand. Today more than a dozen members of the UP Church of Essa Nagri Rev.Boiz Phlip & God’s People Fellowship of Pakistan (GPFP), gathered outside the press club holding banners and placards carryings slogans in support of recognizing the Jewish State. “Our sole aim is to express Christian love for sacred land of Israel, one of the banners read “Recognize Israel”, said another. Rev. Boiz Philip said “in the perspective of chaining global scenario the Government should respect the religious sentiments of its Christian citizens and allow visiting their holy places in Israel on Pakistani Passports”. The best step by the government will be to recognize the state of Israel, he said. The protesters staged demonstration before and dispersed peacefully without any interference of law enforcement agencies.
