I demand clarification from Mr. Altaf Hussain that in Election 2002, why "MQM" did not give their "Party Ticket" to any Christian? Why Mr. Altaf Hussain not ordered his followers to elect Christians with their votes in joint elections when there was every possibility that one or two Christians would have been elected from Karachi or Hyderabad in strong holds of "MQM? Why MQM and Altaf Hussian ignored Christians in pat elections? Why MQM not elected any Christian senator to prove their statements issued now?
To please "MQM" the President appointed Mr. Ishrat Ul Ibad as Governor of Sindh Province, why he did not ask the President to appoint a Christian Governor in the Sindh Province?
The "statement" of Mr. Altaf Hussain comes at a time when "Local Bodies Elections" are being held in Pakistan shortly. This is a "Formal Political Statement" of a politician to bag Christian local body seats in favor of MQM to take control of major cities and towns of Sindh, which is not possible for MQM without support of minorities.
MQM stands shoulder to shoulder with the minorities?
Yes, I also believe this "Statement" too. Till Election Day, not only "MQM" but also all political parties including Islamic Religious Parties like "Muthida Majlas-E-Amal" stands shoulder to shoulder with minorities. When the elections are over, our "Shoulders" are removed and "Dumped" with "junk" till next elections. Till then they will stand "Shoulder to Shoulder" with other Muslim parties and Christians will face oppression, hate, religious discrimination and even death.
Unfortunately, we are either too "innocent" or we are too "ignorant" that we believe all Muslim Political Leader who speaks "attractive words" and ignore our own Christian leaders, no matter how good they may be. In last Fifty years, I have not seen any such promise fulfilled by our Muslim Political Leaders. May I suggest? Don't you ever believe them!
