The CSW in a communication has urged Christians to take notice of serious situation of safety of life and property of Christian minority in Pakistan.

The CSW leader Ben Roger writes " Pakistan saw the worst outbreak of anti-Christian violence since gunmen attacked a church on Christmas Day, 2002. Three churches, a school, a convent and many Christian homes were attacked on November 12 in Sangla Hill. Christian families were forced to flee the area the night before, having received threats from local Muslims. Since the attack, militant Islamist groups have been trying to incite further anti-Christian violence. On December 2, three thousand Pakistani Muslims gathered in Sangla Hill to hear militant speakers calling for the elimination of Christians and the public hanging of a Christian accused of blasphemy. Using loudspeakers, the speakers demanded the unconditional release of 88 Muslims who have been detained by the Pakistani authorities, accused of perpetrating the November 12 attack on Sangla Hill. They also passed a resolution demanding that Yousaf Masih, a Christian accused of desecrating the Koran, be publicly hanged. Similar calls were made a week later, on December 9, to a gathering of 2,500 Muslims at Friday prayers at Jamia Mosque, Sangla Hill" Brother Roger further appeals that "I am therefore asking for your urgent prayers for Pakistan, and for you to write to your Member of Parliament and Member of the European Parliament, asking him/her to raise these issues with the Pakistani President, the Pakistani High Commissioner in London and the Foreign Secretary"
