PCP congratulates Dr. Sabir Michael to be first Pakistani blind Christian for doctorate in Sociology.

USA. Editor Pakistan Christian Post, Dr. Nazir S Bhatti paid homage to Dr. Sabir Michael on completion of his doctorate in Social Sciences. He said, “ Dr. Sabir Michael is symbol of hope for Pakistani Christian youth”

Dr. Sabir Michael is blind Christian youth who always supported Pakistan Christian Post. He wrote articles on welfare of blind Christians and PCP promoted his views and struggle for rights of disabled Christians in Pakistan. Canadian and Malaysian Professors viewed Dr. Sabir Michael's work and writings and he was awarded with doctorate in Social Sciences. His research viewed on problems of minorities in Pakistan and on same his thesis was accepted for doctorate. When Dr. Michael contacted PCP in 2001, he was of opinion that PCP is only positive voice of Pakistani Christians and extended his cooperation. In a recent communication to PCP, Dr. Sabir Michael wrote," Blind people are discriminated in Pakistan and unable to secure any employment" Dr. Sabir Michael also condemned in his communiqué " The Non-governmental Organizations in Pakistan who claim to work for uplift of disabled community are not sincere in their objectives" Dr. Nazir Bhatti appealed to International Forums to come forward and support Dr. Michael that he may play an active part in handicapped Christian community.
