Mr. Bhatti, said that legislation of Blasphemy Laws was adopted neglecting all rules of conducts of national assembly of Pakistan, the Christian members of national assembly were not allowed to present any motion or amendment in this bill nor it was brought before select committee for discussions The Senate of Pakistan have no representation of Christians and this bill came from senate of Pakistan, directed by President of Pakistan, forwarded by Federal Shari at Courts after ruling on a petition filed by Muslim to award death penalty on defiling the name of prophet and his relatives when blasphemy existing laws according to 1935 India Act introduced by British Colonialist Rulers to establish harmony among different religious communities in India was subject to three months and same in Pakistan penal code under section 298a&b. It is interesting that a Law entered through Judiciary when challenged by Pakistan Christian Congress in Lahore High Court and Federal Sharia Courts, the petitions and Law suits were dismissed on grounds that courts are unable to Repeal Laws and can interpretations. In prevailing situation when a Justice of Lahore High Court, who dared to grant bail to a Christian victim arrested under Blasphemy Laws, was gunned down, the hope to ensure justice is deplored. He added that co ordination committee of PCC is meeting soon to discuss this issue at Karachi and to engage Law Firms to check legal options.
