Philadelphia: President of Pakistan Christian Congress, Dr. Nazir S Bhatti has strongly condemned killing of Nawab Akbar Khan Bughti in Balochistan in military operation to suppress demands of provincial autonomy and due share for Balochi in resource

Mr. Bhatti said "killing of Nawab Bughti can be avoided if government have adopted way to dialogue than use of force but present regime launched operation in Balochistan against recognized democratic leaders" Mr. Nazir Bhatti added that Government of Pakistan failed in Waziristan to act against Taliban and Al-Quida and relied on Jirga but used force against his citizens who have differences with government policies in Balochistan. The demands of provincial autonomy and share in natural resources of Balouchistan is widely voiced on Senate and National Assembly floors by Balochi leaders but due consideration was not given to seek solution, said Bhatti Mr. Bhatti said ' killing of Nawab Bughti is blocking democratic political system in Pakistan and its on record that Bughti left his home when government blocked National Assembly Standing Committee reports and dialogue " The loss of Nawab Akbar Bughti is national loss of Pakistan and PCC express condolence to Jamhoori Watan Party JWP leaders and workers on death of great leader. PCC terms August 26, 2006, a " Black Day" in history of Pakistan.
