Karachi: June 8, 2001; Jamhori Watan Party, Sindh, president Saleem Bal ouch in a statement said that Pakistan Christian congress is a moderate Christian political party and their seminars on Christian Muslim dialogues in Karachi, Quetta and Islamaba

He stressed upon continuation of dialogues extending up to town levels where political and religious and political Muslim representatives may exchange views with Christian leaders to sole problems. He assured that JWP would cooperate and fully participate in such gatherings like again. He demanded 8% of seats for Christians in Senate of Pakistan, National Assembly of Pakistan and Provincial Assemblies according to proportional to their population. And counted recent representation un satisfactory and depriving of equal basic democratic rights for religious minorities in Pakistan. He asked Christian leadership to come forward and join the struggle of ARD for restoration of democracy on Pakistan. He assured support of JWP in all walks of life. He said that JWP during their government in Balouchistan awarded speakership and important ministries to minority members and this decision was the able and courageous leadership of JWP chief Nawab Akber Khan Bughti only and such support for minorities is exemplary in history of Pakistan. Paying homage to JWP chief he said that solution to all the problems of Pakistan is to adopt Mr. Bughti as Prime Minister of Pakistan in its best for solidarity, integrity and prosperity of Pakistan.
