Lahore: May 30, 2007. (Report by Pastor Azam Peter) The more reports have been surfaced of gang rape of Christian girl in Muslim graveyard in Lahore. According to information's, the name of Christian victim is Miss Lunba, a 20 years old, who was in love with Nasir Masih (Mochaha) who is 21 years of age. Lubna and Nasir wanted to marry each other but their families were against their love marriage. The idea of love marriage is mostly disliked by families and arranged marriages are preferred in Pakistan. On night of May 23, 2007, Lunba and Nasir decided to runaway from their homes and get married. They left their homes at 9.00 PM and went to home of their relatives and friends to seek shelter and support for marriage but same was denied. After being helpless, it was 11: 00 PM at night and weather was also against them. It was dark and thunder storm when they took refuge in Christian graveyard which is adjacent to Muslim graveyard. This is faith of Sunni Muslims that the grave of their saint is one of holy Grave in the graveyard. This special grave is painted with green color and decorated with green flags on trees on tomb. Muslims women and men visit every Thursday and vow for their wishes and light candles on the grave. Such places are used by criminals to hide and use drugs at nights. Mr. Mohammad Jajou Gujjar who was in graveyard with six other muslims spoted this Christian couple. They caught them and on gun point they ordered to shut their mouth. They started beating Mocha (Mr. Nasir Masih) with heavy chain. All night they raped girl and beat her. At 5:30 AM they same ordered to girl run...when she came back her home her family went to police station and complained against Mr. Nasir Masih (Mocha) Police arrested him but girl reached at police station and said that he is my love he is blameless. She told all story and complained against Mohammad Jajou Goujjar and his 5 friends those raped her. On this police arrested them but they were rich people. Police became their partners they paid 5o thousand rupees to her father and police set them free. Now they are wandering in the town freely. Christian Minority angry with Mr. Billa Mistry, Lubna's father that he should protest.
