A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, able to teach; not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money, but gentle, not quarrelsome, not covetous; one who rules his own house well, having his children in submission with all reverence (for if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how will he take care of the church of God?); not a novice, lest being puffed up with pride he fall into the same condemnation as the devil. Moreover he must have a good testimony among those who are outside, lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil”. (1 Timothy 1-7)

The Holy Bible has given a very sacred and glorious, yet strict conditions and qualifications of a bishop and all those who wish to serve as bishops must meet these qualifications and conditions as laid down by the Word of God.

The title of this article is not “A” person but a Character. This Character is not fictitious but real. This Character though recognized by may people in Pakistan and around the world, does not meet any requirement as mentioned above. Initially I did call this Character with the title of “bishop” but as this Character revealed its evil self, I stopped calling him “bishop”. The “Character” that I am writing about is not a person but a symbol of greed, pride, intolerance, trouble, un-lawful authority, insanity, ignorance at all levels e.t.c. You name any negative word; this “Character” has that in himself. He desired the office of a bishop, not to for “good work” or serve the Lord but for worldly gains. The way he adopted to get the office of bishop was “bribery” at all levels, thus he was never faithful and “blameless” and he has yet to be termed as ”faithful” or “blameless”.

He is has always been blamed and still being blamed for every mischief, trouble and wrong doing in church. He is “husband of one wife” but never cared for the “Seventh, to Tenth Commandment”. (Exodus 20:14-17) He is extremely “Ill-tempered”, he is not at all “sober minded” at the age of Sixty plus he still behaves like a child. “Good behavior” is not is desire or practice. He is “hospitable” to all from whom he gain some worldly gains, but he does not believe in “hospitality” for poor or common Christians. He can not teach any good thing but he is an expert in trouble making in society and the church. (He can not perform even a funeral service properly) He is an alcoholic person who spends hundreds of thousands Rupees on liquor every month. He is “extremely violent” to all those who disagree with him. His “greed for money” has crossed all limits. He wants to control the monitory resources of the church. He even does not hesitate to sell church buildings. He has never been taught to be “gentle” and he quarrels on very small things. (He can not stand any one who holds the office of bishop, even from another denomination) He is “covetous” and can do any thing to satisfy his covetousness. He loves money (Even if he has to sell a church) or cut the throat of the poor flock of Lord Jesus Christ. He has miserably failed to “rules his own house well and having his children in submission with all reverence”. He has rather given total freedom to his children to do any thing they want, even if it goes against the Holy Bible.(For he is a man who does not know how to rule his own house and control his children, therefore he has failed to take care of the church of God?). He claims to be a “converted” or “a novice” and he is “puffed up with pride” therefore he has fallen into the same condemnation as the devil. Moreover he does not have a good testimony among those who are outside, thus he has fallen into reproach and the snare of the devil.

This “Character” is harming the very Body of Christ, inflicting wounds on it by his misdeeds. This “Character” is power hungry and feels pleasure in self projection. He is friend of “Lust Lover” and loves the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars. This “Character” shall have his part with them in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death." After have said all that has been written above about this “Character”, I wish to further add that he has become a symbol of hypocrisy, mockery for Christianity and a tool of the evil forces of the world. His master is “devil” yet he claims to be Christian. I know the beneficiaries of this horrible “Character” will have lot of pain in their neck and this article will be a thorn in their heart. Yet if any one and I repeat any one wants to save Church of Pakistan in particular and the churches in Pakistan in general, this “indecent, greedy, ignorant, money lover, immoral and proud Character” has to be gotten rid off. With his worldly desires and satanic pride, he is cutting the roots of the Church of Pakistan. His devilish goal is to destroy the “Body of Christ” and he is restlessly busy in attaining his goal. Lord God told the Prophet Ezekiel for Lamentation for King of Tyre. The King of Tyre is depicted as Satan who was once “anointed angle or cherub”. "You were the seal of perfection, Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every precious stone was your covering: The sardius, topaz, and diamond, Beryl, onyx, and jasper, Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes Was prepared for you on the day you were created. "You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you; You were on the holy mountain of God; You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones. You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, Till iniquity was found in you. "By the abundance of your trading You became filled with violence within,
And you sinned; Therefore I cast you as a profane thing Out of the mountain of God; And I destroyed you, O covering cherub, From the midst of the fiery stones.
"Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor; I cast you to the ground, I laid you before kings, That they might gaze at you."You defiled your sanctuaries By the multitude of your iniquities,
By the iniquity of your trading; Therefore I brought fire from your midst; It devoured you, And I turned you to ashes upon the earth In the sight of all who saw you.
All who knew you among the peoples are astonished at you; You have become a horror, And shall be no more forever. (Ezekiel 28:12-19) This “Character in Church of Pakistan though never was anointed to be a bishop by Lord Jesus Christ. Yet when God’s after finding iniquity and pride in the “anointed cherub” cast him from His mountain as a profane, where does this “Character” of Church of Pakistan stands? If this “Character” does not repent and gives up his pride, he is destined to become a horror, and all who knew him among people will be astonished. You are constantly corrupting the wisdom for the sake of splendor and defiling your sanctuaries, what will be your end? There is still time for this “Character” to rid himself from his iniquities, pride and greed. If the readers can identify him, please tell him.
