God does not want to perish anyone little ones ( Mathew 18: 14) “Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.” (Mathew 18: 10) “But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.” (Mathew 18: 6)
What is the reward of those people who does good with little ones who walks by faith in Christ as disciples and saints? (Mathew 10: 42) John was beheaded in prison (Mathew 14: 10). In the day of judgment, people ask Lord, when we did see you in need, troubles, prison, naked, hungry, stranger and thirst,? “Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungred, or a thirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?”
What will answer of Lord of host, if you have done wrong with least of these, you had done me. “Then shall he answer them, saying, verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.”(Mathew 25: 45)
Now 400 Pakistani Christian are arrested in Bangkok in the hands of Thailand police, How many prayed for them, How tried to help them in these “Lent days” How many try to discourage those who are trying to help them, how many bottles of whiskey, drugs have drunk and smoked? How much money had been wasted in parties? How much time you spent in prayer for Christian, who is in needs, troubles, pain, and prison. But there is no money to help those people who are in needs, then what is meaning of these Lent days? What is character and attitude of Christian in these Lent days? How many Christian are following Christ and his teaching,
In this verse God is asking question to the people about way of fasting through His Holy Words. What human are doing in these fasting days, as non – believer. This is question of God to people “Is not this the fast that I have chosen? To loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?” (Isaiah58: 6)
What human are doing during Fasting “Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins. 2 Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God. 3 Wherefore have we fasted, say they, and thou seest not? Wherefore have we afflicted our soul, and thou takest no knowledge? Behold, in the day of your fast ye find pleasure, and exact all your labours. 4 Behold, ye fast for strife and debate, and to smite with the fist of wickedness: ye shall not fast as ye do this day, to make your voice to be heard on high. 5 Is it such a fast that I have chosen? a day for a man to afflict his soul? Is it to bow down his head as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? wilt thou call this a fast, and an acceptable day to the LORD?” (Isaiah 58: 1 – 5)

Our Lord Jesus Christ is so merciful and does justice with people are with him to walk by faith (Mathew 15: 32). Evil spirits that disciple could not rebuke (Mark 9: 29) there is old women who had been praying and fasting (Luke 2: 37), other people asked question to Jesus , other people fast but your disciple are not fasting, Lord said them, when Bride groom is present, why they will fast, Now what is attitude of Christian, what we are doing , are we trying to break yoke of brutality, what God asked through Prophet Isaiah, Do we have no Jesus Christ’s in lives to fast for? What kind of fasting, we are doing? Are we all are so called Christian, ask your self?
Fasting means is by purpose for purpose with purity and holiness. Fasting meaning is sign of repentance, God’s eternal guidance, sign of humbleness and repentance from sins. Fasting means mourning not but happiness, preparation, discipline and joy.
