Sub:- Were those Iranians fools who suffered for decades (due to sanctions) for protecting principles and values of Islam ?
The ‘Framework deal’ (which will become ‘Final Agreement by June 30, 2015) reached on Thursday after talks between Iran and the so-called P5+1 ( the US, UK, France, China and Russia plus Germany) where Iran will reduce its uranium enrichment capacity in exchange for phased sanctions relief - is an incontrovertible evidence of the fact that Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei the Supreme Leader of Iran has now become an ordinary politician and is no more the custodian of the values of Shia Islam.
After this nuclear deal the countries who have nuclear weapons (not only P5 countries but even Israel, India, Pakistan etc) will continue to have them and even increase them as if they (but not Iran) have some divine right to it,.
Non-proliferation and disarmament of nuclear weapons are sought by world community for the simple reason that like chemical and biological weapons these are also ‘weapons of Mass Destruction’ (WMDs) which at much larger scale kill civilians too including women, children, old people - hence abhorred by mankind.
That is why about NPT, in addition to other objectives, it is mentioned at UN website (UNODA) that -’The NPT is a landmark international treaty whose objective is to further the goal of achieving nuclear disarmament’. In the text of the treaty the objective is further mentioned that - ‘Complete disarmament under strict and effective international control’
But Ayatollah - (without ensuring that the nuclear weapons of other countries are destroyed in a time bound program and without ensuring that the nuclear programs of all these above mentioned and other countries are also brought under strict surveillance of world body) - has surrendered the sovereignty of Iran by allowing government of Iran to negotiate and enter into this “Framework deal’
Obviously Ayatollah believes that those Iranians were fools who suffered for decades (due to sanctions) for protecting the principles and sovereignty of Iran. It is all the more surprising that a religious leader of Islam has stooped to such low level without realizing that Islam is the only religion on earth which keeps temporal power under the authority of people through religion.
Because Ayatollah has surrendered before the blackmail of P5+1 - (who exploited the desire of some unpatriotic Iranians who don’t mind sacrificing Iranian sovereignty for the sake of economic benefits in the form of phased sanctions relief) - the people of Iran should tell Ayatollah Khamenei that he will be removed from the position of Supreme Leader of Iran because he is no more behaving as the custodian of the values of Shia Islam.
People of Iran now should allow Ayatollah Khamenei in the position of Supreme Leader of Iran only if he causes a show-cause notice to be sent to NPT authorities under Article X of the NPT that why Iran should not exercise its right to withdraw from the Treaty because extraordinary events, related to the subject matter of this Treaty, have jeopardized the supreme interests of Iran given the fact that -
(i)- Nuclear weapons of not only P5 countries but even Israel, India, Pakistan etc have not been destroyed so far.
(ii)- No strict surveillance by UN (and UNODA) over all the member countries of UN (whether NPT signed, ratified, acceded etc or not) in order to ensure that they do not make nuclear weapons any further (Here it is in context to add that Pakistan and India regularly come in media to say that they are making nuclear weapons especially to intimidate or even destroy each other).
(iii)- In view of the importance of elimination of WMDs for the mankind UN has still not made NPT mandatory and some countries are still claiming to have nuclear WMDs as their divine right.
