It is written in The Holy Bible, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; (Ephesians 6:10-18)
Ever since the first encounter between “Man and Devil” in “Garden of Eden”, human race in constant state of war with Devil. Man in his weakness was defeated by Devil in Garden of Eden and thereafter God sent forth His Word, His Son Lord Jesus Christ to lead the war against the Devil. He prepared the Human Race to fight the war against Devil and the forces of darkness. Lord Jesus Christ foretold the coming of “False Prophets” “And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many” (Matthew 24:11) further He warned His people of the “False Hood” of the Devil Disciples, who claim “Lo here is Christ or there”. And our Lord told us not to believe them because they are “False Prophets”. He Himself said, “ Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Matthew 24: 23-27)
Saint Paul in his Epistle to the “Ephesians” has very clearly pointed out the nature of the war between Christians and the Devil. He has mentioned all “Spiritual” weapons that are needed to fight the Spiritual war against the “Devil and the Forces of Darkness”.
Despite clear warning, instruction, undefeatable spiritual weapons and having a Commander who has defeated the “Death”, the Christians have been making “Private Peace” with Devil. The Roman Church fell into “Idolatry” and started worshiping the “Statues of Jesus Christ, Holy Marry and the Saints”. They went so far in their in preserving their “Private Peace” with Devil that resulted in “Reformation Movement” and the beginning of “Protestant Church”. Lord God brought His people out of the “Private Peace” with Devil that the Roman Church had made. Soon a “True Church” was established to glorify the Lord. Main line churches were founded and the proclamation of Gospel once again started with zeal and devotion. Christianity came out of its “Dark Age”. The Word of God was translated in almost all languages known by that time and a multitude of people accepted Lord Jesus Christ as their redeemer and savior.
Sensing the defeat, the Devil infiltrated in the minds of “Self Righteous” people who were in reality the “False Prophets”. In little over a century, these “False Prophets” that are called “Charismatic” Churches and “Faith Healers” or to be more specific, the “Pentecostals” became tools of Devil. Today they have misled over one billion believers with their “Occultism, sorcery, strange UN-Biblical Doctrines, fake healing, bigger and ever growing “Crusades”. Over emphases on “tongues”. They claim to have power of healing and disease that can not be seen (healing a cancer patent) yet the human sufferings keep increasing every day. (I heard a Charismatic telling the people that their poverty is because of their sins and demons they possess) yet it is forgotten that Lord Jesus Christ was not a rich man, he did not have a dwelling place, he traveled on foot. We don’t find Jesus Christ living a “Lavish” life, He did not travel on “Chariots”. The only time he rode a donkey was on Palm Sunday and that too was borrowed. Yet today, a Charismatic and so-called healer and preacher lives a Princely life. In Pakistan these people come and mislead the poor people who come to get rid of their sickness and diseases. But there is no healing. They spend huge sums of money on arranging huge “Crusades” yet they are not willing to help a poor person. They even do not like to meet common man. They preach their own gospel and ignore Lord Jesus Christ. They have become “gods” and “goddesses” and they proudly proclaim so. They have power to impart Pastoral training on thousands of so-called Pastors in matter of four to five days. Despite this “Spiritual Fraud” they claim to be “anointed ones”. The “Main Line Churches” who once declared “Pentecostalism” a “Cult” feel pleasure in sitting on their stages and watching their “dramas” with delight. (Please visit any Charismatic web Site)
And why should they not feel pleasure and joy with “Pentecostal cult”? These churches have given up their primary roll of proclaiming Gospel. They are busy in “Social Issues” like “rights” of homosexuals. Same sex marriages even their clergy blesses same sex “Holy Union” and these so called Main Line Churches have homosexual clergy. Today the un-repented sinners enjoy a special status in main line churches. They are concerned about “abortion” and sex out side wed lock and they are more concerned about “Human Rights” and “Interfaith Peace and Harmony”. They care more for Human Rights Charter and forget the “Devine Human Right Charter” that is the Holy Bible. They have either forgotten the Holy Bible that ensures Human Rights even for none believers or have done away with the Word of God. Sadly but surely the main line churches have also made “Private Peace” with Devil.
The “Christian Intellectuals” have absolved themselves of any religious obligation. They don’t really care about the Christianity or Christian values. They have there own little “Circles” where Christ has no place.
The Christian world today does not care or need the strength of the Lord, and the power of His might. The whole armour of God, is too heavy for them and that is why they feel difficult to accept it. Thus they are unable to stand against the wiles of the devil. They wrestle against flesh and blood, but avoid any effort against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore they are reluctant to take unto them the whole armour of God, therefore they are not willing to withstand in the evil day. They fail to stand therefore, having their loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness is an unbearable burden for them. Their feet are not shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace according to the will of God but according to their earthly needs. Above all, they have done away with the shield of faith, therefore they rather invite the quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. The helmet of salvation is too heavy and uncomfortable or them, and they have thrown away the sword of the Spirit. They like to tame the pack of wolves with satanic feathers. This is the Christianity of 21st century. And yet they laugh at the people who are faithful to Lord Jesus Christ and the Word of God. The faithful are “fools” for them. They are termed as fundamentalists and traditionalists. They claim that the people who are faithful to Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Bible, live in past. For them Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Bible has no importance.
Therefore, I selected the title of this article “Ceasefire with Satan”. The Christian world has stopped fighting the devil. They have made “Peace” with Devil. They have accepted “Ceasefire against Satan”. Yet this “Ceasefire against Satan” that has resulted in “Peace with Devil” will not help all the people that I have mentioned above. I know that our Lord is coming soon, He will abolish the ceasefire and declare war against Devil and the people who are faithful to Lord Jesus Christ and the Word of God who have not made peace with devil will defeat and destroy all “Forces of Darkness” and those who have made “Peace with Devil will be cast into the lake of ever burning fire.
Lord God is still calling all who have betrayed Him and when there is yet time we all must return to God. We must denounce idolatry of Roman Church, we must denounce the “Occult Religion of Pentecostals, we must stop useless debates in our main line churches and take the Holy Bible as an authority on all human aspects and issues and the intellectuals must come out of their nucleus and use their “Intellect” for the Glory of the Lord who shall then glorify them in His Kingdom. We must not trust every soul and we must be careful when the “False Prophets” come to us proclaiming themselves as “gods” and “goddesses”. These are hidden rocks beneath the water and will destroy and sink the vassal of Christian faith.
