The name of Mahatma Gandhi (the father of the nation) still appeals to Indians regarding clean (corruption-free) public life. The incumbent BJP came to power in 2014 at Centre mainly due to national anti-corruption movement for Lokpal (ombudsman) led by Anna Hazare (a Gandhian) in 2011-12. This Anna’s movement destroyed the credibility of the then incumbent Government of India (GOI) led by Congress and helped Modi to become Prime Minister of India. Arvind Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was the byproduct of this Anna movement.

The APP won 2017 election in Punjab for 20 MLAs mainly on the issue of drug trafficking & corruption in Punjab and now Kejriwal (through said apology to Majithia) is saying that there has been no drug trafficking & corruption in Punjab. About this immorality and support to corruption & drug trafficking by his protégé Kejariwal, Anna is under moral obligation to publicly condemn Kejriwal and further Anna (instead of bringing bad name to ‘Gandhians’) should publicly ask AAP (also during said agitation of March 23, 2018 by Anna Hazare) to expel Kejriwal from APP.
