Christians face persecution and death in many countries today. In fact, in the last 100 years more Christians have been martyred for their faith than in the past 1900 years - combined. And the persecution of Christians is getting worse; far worse.

Christians face growing persecution in Indonesia, India, Burma, China, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, Laos, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Pakistan, UAE, and many other countries. Tragically, in most cases, the mainstream media seldom, if ever, reports the persecution of Christians.
The Salem Voice Ministries is an organization dedicated to reach the Gospel to the Muslims as well as Hindus and the third world for helping persecuted Christians on the front lines. Pastor Paul Ciniraj Mohamed, Director of the Salem Voice Ministries was a Muslim by birth, accepted Lord Jesus as his Personal Savior and called for the ministry of our Lord about 30 years ago. It is meant for teaching the Bible to the new believers and trains them for the evangelization and missionary services. And also for giving physical and moral protection and rehabilitation of the persecuted missionaries and the believers. It is to be found that many individuals from prominent families and fundamental religions believing Jesus Christ as personal savior by hearing the Word of God and embracing Christianity. But when they face persecutions and hardships, nobody coming forward to give them needed protection or even mental support. So it is important to have a center of rehabilitation for the persecuted missionaries and believers. "Remember the word that I said unto you, the servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also" (John 15:20).
"Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness` sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you" (Matthew 5:10-12).
"And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us" (Romans 8:17-18).
