This refers to an interview by ArchBishop of Bengaluru Peter Machado to the Wire (as given at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7QOTL8mP-8 ) where he has rightly taken stand against human trafficking but apologetically, irresponsibly and cowardly talked about conversion which is the main reason that Christians are harassed (as happened with this case of two nuns too) in India.
Therefore Arch Bishop Peter Machado instead of adopting an ineffective (as he has revealed during the said interview) approach for relief should immediately approach Prez Trump for relief through the US-Christianity of the same denomination as he is fiollowing.
Arch Bishop Peter Machado ought to know that because Christianity not only has given-up the mission of spreading the message of love of Jesus Christ to rest of the world which Christianity should have done by Christenizing the rest of the non-Christian world but has also cowardly & irresponsibly become apologetic about conversion (even out of free choice) that is the main cause of harassment of Christians in India.
Hence Arch Bishop Peter Machado should also request Prez Trump to get all anti-conversion laws [of the union of India or of any State / Union Territory (UT) of India ] removed from the statute as these are against the fundamental right of freedom of religion as enshrined in the Constitution of India and also against such rights granted by the UN of which India is a signatory.
Here it is in context to mention that even conversion out of free choice is projected / declared as forced conversion by the government functionaries (of police & administration) in India under the pressure of Hindutva forces led by PM Modi which is presently ruling at the centre and in many States / UT of India.
Fortunately for the Christianity in India President Trump of the USA (the leader of free world) may take the said request of Arch Bishop Peter Machado seriously & favorably in view of the contemporary global scenario which is threatening the rule based global order as mentioned at https://www.pakistanchristianpost.com/opinion-details/4612 .
If ArchBishop Peter Machado thinks that it will help then I am prepared to assist him here in the USA to mobilize US-Christianity (of the denomination he is following) and in turn to persuade Prez Trump to provide the said relief to Indian Christians.
