Aneel Salman comments on “Trial of Pakistani Christian Nation” a Book by Nazir S Bhatti
Dear Nazir:
First of all congrats on your new book. Its always good to know at least some one is making effort to raise voice for Christian community. I haven’t read the whole book but skimmed through some chapters. I would say the writing style seems as if you are only sharing your success stories and boasting. It seems if Nazir Bhatti was not there Christian community would have been in chaos.
Secondly you need to correct your facts as we have Christian Army General, People in the top tiers of bureaucracy, Technocrats, Fulbright Scholars studying in elite universities of USA. They might be few but most effective.
The dilemma of our churches is they talk and write with closed eyes. They generalize the state of Pakistan what they see in their church. There has been a wide gap between church and Christian community. The churches are running like corporations where the motive is to maximize "chanda". Why the hell we need so many missions, sects, churches. If we were unified there would have been a strict action taken against the Taliban attack in Karachi.
Just an advice when you write, do Google and you will have an idea what Christians in Pakistan are doing.
