Karachi: September 18, 2015. (ARY) Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) MPA in Sindh has escaped an assassination attempt, according to a tweet of a London-based party leader Nadeem Nusrat.
He said the the MPA of his party was targeted in North Karachi. Mr. Nusrat, in his tweet, said three armed men opened fire on him near his house and fled.
Some media reports cited police as saying that six armed men riding three motorbikes waylaid Saifuddin when he was travelling in his car in Sector 11 of Karachi.
Saifuddin Khalid is also a member: Standing Committee on Transport & Mass Transit in the Sindh Assembly.
According to Sindh Assembly website, Mr. Khalid is a resident is a resident of Orangi Town.
