HRFP condemned brutal attack on Pastors in Peshawar; one assassinated and other got inured!

Faisalabad): Human Rights Focus Pakistan (HRFP) highly condemned the brutal attack on two pastors in Peshawar and demands for bring the culprits to justice and their facilitators.

Naveed Walter president of Human Rights Focus Pakistan (HRFP) said the assassination of Pastor William Siraj and during attack Pastor Patrick Naeem got injured is an unbearable act. He said this looks a targeted attack by Islamists as the Interior Minister of Pakistan has said multiply and after Lahore bomb blast recently that seize fire with Taliban's has ended. Naveed Walter further said that incident in Peshawar seemed to be across the border of Afghanistan since minorities has been facing the threats from longer and several times targeted like in 2013 Church attack, Sikhs murders and Hindus has been targeted as about the existence of brutal Taliban's death squads has also reported several times. 

Naveed Walter further said that when the government knows well that after seize fire the attacks or bomb blasts could happened then why they are not improving security measures especially of Christians and other minorities being soft targets. He urged to provide security and took practical steps ahead for protection of minorities immediately otherwise the same incidents could take place in other parts of country, Naveed Walter added.

Naveed Walter said that government look to prove that they are in favor of pure Islamic country when they said to make Pakistan as state like Madina. While the government has rejected the minorities’ bills as like abductions, forced conversions and forced marriages to be saying it as "un-Islamic", Naveed Walter added. 

Moreover, Human Rights Focus Pakistan (HRFP) will continue the monitoring of issue and bring the further facts behind the incident. HRFP added!
