La Cross. Feb. 17. Rev. Augustine have moved from his parish in Virginia and now serving as Rector of historic downtown Christ Episcopal Church, La Crosse, Wisconsin. Tomorrow he shall be inducted by the Bishop of Eau Claire, The Rt. Rev. Keith Whitmore, as the 23rd Rector during the service of "Celebration of a New Ministry. This parish was built in 1850 by a missionary priest Rev. Breck. La Crosse is build on the banks of the mighty Mississippi river and on the other side are the bluffs. On the other side of Mississippi river is Minnesota. It is pretty cold county.
PCP readers are requested for pray for Rev. Augustine as he begin and celebrate my new ministry at Christ Church.
