Chandigarh: March 9, 2017. (PCP) The Department of Psychology of Guru Gobind Singh College for Women, Sector 26, organized a one day workshop on “Management of Stress through Emotional Regulation” under the RUSA cell of the college.
Mrs. Nayanika Singh, Psychologist and Co-coordinator with Eurofit, a premium Sports research institute in Vienna, was the main Speaker for the Day.
An interactive approach was adopted by the speaker to explain stress management techniques. The session included different games played by the students, in which they discovered their personality by choice making.
The role of meditation in reducing stress was also emphasized. A Neurolinguistic technique called ‘blurring’ was practiced during the session.
At the end, college Principal Dr. Charanjeet Kaur Sohi gave vote of thanks and motivated students to live a stress-free life.
