Chandigarh: September 29, 2017. (PCP) As part of the ongoing Swachhta Pakhwara (Cleanliness Drive) organized by Guru Gobind Singh College for Women, Sector 26 from 16th September to 2nd October and with the special relevance to the birthday of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, a skit titled “Soch badlo desh badlo” was staged in the college auditorium.
To invoke an emotional response towards the collective effort of cleanliness, poems were recited by the students. In order to encourage everyone to follow a healthy lifestyle; yoga, gymnastics and aerobics performances were given by some of the students.
At the conclusion of the event, the Principal Dr.Charanjeet Kaur Sohi commended the girls on their enthusiastic performances and motivated everyone to contribute towards the collective goal of making our country a cleaner and better place to live in, under the Prime Ministers’ , dream project of “Cleanliness Inside out”.
