New Delhi: December 12, 2017. (PCP) Prof.Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party & Sr. Executive Member of Supreme Court Bar Association who is visiting Gujarat has made appeal to Chief Election Commissioner of India to declare Gujarat election process as vitiated rather entire electoral process has been vitiated by Shri Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India and President of Indian National Congress. NPP Supremo called it a shame that Prime Minister of India campaigning for BJP in the Assembly election went to a temple to conclude his election campaign for BJP whereas Rahul Gandhi, President of the Congress Party also went to a temple in Ahmedabad praying for votes and victory for the Congress Party. Prof.Bhim Singh said that this is a total violation of election rules by the Prime Minister and by Leader of the Congress Party. He urged Election Commission of India for his urgent intervention. Election Commission should, he demanded, declare the electoral process in Gujarat as vitiated and has violated the mandatory provision in the Constitution of India that religion shall not be exploited or votes shall not be demanded in the name of religion. No Prime Minister in the country has ever visited a religious base for election campaign. Both have violated laws. Both should be prosecuted in accordance with the Constitution and the present electoral process in Gujarat should be declared as void, Prof. Bhim Singh demanded.
